Candice and Leigh's wedding week in Bali

We always knew we wanted to get married in Bali. We love the vibe and the people and wanted our wedding to be as stress free as possible.

The best part of hosting a destination wedding was that everyone was already in ‘holiday mode’. All of our guests were so relaxed and able to really enjoy themselves.

We had visited Bali a few times over the 7 years we have been together and it was where we got engaged in November 2013 so it is very special to us and made perfect sense to be the location of our wedding day.

We arrived into Bali one week before our wedding day and planned lots of events for our family and friends leading up to the big day.

We sent our guests an itinerary for the week with different events that everyone was welcome to attend if they wanted to (all optional).  We started with welcome drinks at our hotel and also planned outings to Waterbom park and Frankenstein’s Laboratory.

Our bridal party organised our hens and bucks parties in Bali which were so much fun.

We didn’t have a theme for the wedding but just kept everything classic and elegant. The venue was enough to wow our guests without going too over the top with styling.

We had 60 guests attend and opted for a buffet style meal. The food was AMAZING!

The entire day was just magical and even more than I could ever have imagined.

Our guests are still raving about it and have all said that it is the best wedding they have ever been to.

Everyone had so much fun on the dance floor (including some of the staff who were dragged up there for a dance).

We are happy to announce that we are expecting our first baby in February 2016 (exactly 9 months after our special day).
